DARC Success at 2008 British Indoor Rowing Championships

Five members of Durham Amateur Rowing Club travelled to Birmingham on Sunday 26 October to compete at the British Indoor Championships. One of these competitors was former rugby international Gareth Archer. Gareth won gold in a time of 5:54.3 in the Men’s 30-34 event. He was only 3/100ths of a second away from the championship record and had the third fastest overall time.
