It’s Dartmouth’s day at Falmouth

Falmouth Regatta, the fourth regatta in the 2008 West of England ARA ten regatta Championship series, was held on Stithians Lake a few miles inland from Falmouth near Redruth.

Once again chilly conditions at the venue greeted competitors with a strong wind over the 1,000 metre course creating choppy water with some ‘white horses’ at the exposed start. As a result of the conditions the Under 14 double and single sculls races were shortened to 500 metres.
