Do you like rowing? Working in a team? Challenging yourself? Ever wondered how far you could go? Ever wondered how fast you could go? For the first time ever, British Rowing and The GB Rowing Team have created a special Facebook community aimed at people just like you.

On the Women on Water Facebook group, you’ll find all the latest news and information from women’s rowing, as well as exclusive tips from the GB Rowing Team’s record-breaking women’s squads, and a glimpse into how those who have made it to the top got there.

As well as access to exclusive videos and photos straight from the athletes, you’ll be able to ask questions of the rowers and coaches, and find out what inspired them. Not only that, you will be treated to a look behind the scenes of the GB Women’s Rowing team as they aim for the Rio Olympics in 2016.

“Take this incredible opportunity to ask the rowers and coaches what advice they could offer.”

“You’ll be surprised just how much you can relate to the stories of the GB Rowing Team,” says Katherine Grainger CBE, the most successful female rower in British Rowing history. “Everyone has had a different route to success and there is no right or wrong way to do it. It’s smart to hear from those that have made it, and to learn what your own pathway might look like. Take this incredible opportunity to ask the rowers and coaches what advice they could offer. It’s something that has never been done before and something I’d have loved to have got the chance to do when I was starting out.”
