Qualifications

A place to understand how to meet those key coach development milestones

Undertaking a coaching qualification gives you a strong foundation to not only understand the role, but develop a support network, ensure you meet the minimum standards required to coach safely and fairly, and also understand how you can continually develop yourself every time you coach.

British Rowing

Our Coaching Qualifications page outlines all of the formal education opportunities that are available for coaches.

Once you have attended a British Rowing course, you are given access to all of the course materials and resources on our learning platform, RowHow.

The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA)

British Rowing is a CIMSPA Education Partner Training Partner which endorses our Go Row Indoor Fitness Professional In-person and Virtual workshops, offering three Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for those who attend virtually and five CPD points for those who attend in-person.
