About UsGovernanceThe Governance Team The Governance Team British Rowing’s Governance team are your first port of call for safeguarding, disciplinary, grievance, anti-doping and integrity guidance. We believe that respect, trust and integrity are core parts of a safe and fair sport, and that good governance is key to the effective running of British Rowing. It provides a framework to ensure that British Rowing is open, transparent and fair and that its processes and procedures are up to date, clear and work effectively to keep everyone safe and supported, ensuring the rowing community can remain a place that we all want to be a part of. We work hard with our colleagues in the clubs and events and with our volunteers to keep our children and young people safe, and to prevent doping, corruption and unsafe or unfair environments in rowing. The Governance team’s role in this not just to advise on individual issues you may experience in relation to the above, but also to recommend the best ways for clubs and individuals to create a safe and enjoyable rowing environment for all to thrive in. We deal with disciplinary cases and grievances against British Rowing.
