Kate O’Sullivan has extensive experience in engineering, research management and learning and development. She is a member of Tees Rowing Club.

Kate has been part of the rowing community for the past 35 years as a rower, coach, club captain and president, regatta Chairman, coach educator, Northern Rowing Council regional representative and British Rowing council member. Since 2006, Kate has been the Chairman of the National Coaching Committee and a member of the Sport Committee since 2012.

Kate was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to rowing in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Kate O’Sullivan was appointed Deputy Chairman in October 2017.
