Great Britain squad changes for World Rowing Cup II

A small number of changes have been made to the GB Rowing Team squad for this weekend’s racing in Lucerne

The GB Rowing Team has submitted the following amendments to its squad for the World Rowing Cup II in Lucerne, 21-23 May 2021.

The women’s pair (W2-) of Helen Glover and Polly Swann (GBR1) have withdrawn due to a minor injury.  The women’s pair of Samantha Courty and Annie Withers (GBR2) have also withdrawn due to a minor injury. Both crews are expected to be back out on the water soon.

In the women’s four (W4-), Karen Bennett has withdrawn due to personal reasons. Caragh McMurtry will now be racing in the four alongside Rowan McKellar, Harriet Taylor and Rebecca Shorten.

The women’s eight (W8+) have withdrawn from the regatta as no other W8+ boats were entered.
