Hattie Taylor is a Tokyo 2020 Olympian.
Hattie’s first international rowing experience was at under-23 level. She won bronze in the Women’s eight at the World Rowing Under-23 championships in 2015, and came fourth in 2016 in the Women’s coxless four.
She had her first taste of competition in the senior team in 2017, when she finished sixth at World Cup III in the four. In 2018, racing in the Women’s pair with Rowan McKellar, she placed fifth at the Europeans and seventh at the Worlds.
Moving in to the eight for the 2019 season, she won bronze at the European Championships before finishing fifth at the World Championships, qualifying the crew for Tokyo 2020.
In 2021, she was selected for the Women’s coxless four that took bronze at the European Championships before finishing fourth at the Olympic Games.
On returning to the team in 2023, she won a silver medal in the Women’s eight at the European Rowing Championships.
