Introduction to Coaching Rowers with a Disability workshop

With the release of British Rowing’s Adaptive Rowing: A Guide, we are also pleased to announce ‘Introduction to Coaching Rowers with a Disability‘ – a brand new to addition our workshop series.
This new three-hour workshop will focus on providing attendees with an overview of the full range of adaptive rowing classifications, how to meet an adaptive rower’s specific needs, as well as an in-depth look at the equipment and coaching environment in Adaptive Rowing.
Its aim is to encourage attendees to meet the needs of their local community by providing opportunities in local rowing clubs for rowers with disabilities.

Growing Your Club – Marketing workshop

This workshop is aimed at rowing club members who would like to learn more about growing their club and attracting new rowers. It covers topics such as evaluating a club’s current position, finding out more about the local market, aiming for the correct target market and producing effective marketing materials. It is a three-hour workshop during which time learners will get the opportunity to look at market segmentation profiles and undertake SWOT analysis of their club’s marketing.
