Tynemouth Rowing Club enjoys a glorious location right at the point where the river Tyne empties into the North Sea. The things that we love about our club - wind waves and tide, a pier, lighthouse, a priory, ships and fishing boats and even the occassional seal - are sometimes the very things that make for a challenging row. The club carries a proud tradition of rowing since 1867.
