Sponsored by the Foundation for Sport and the Arts and Runningsports, SCOTY is now in its sixteenth year and recognises the significant contribution of sport and recreation clubs at a grassroots level. SCOTY distributes a total prize fund of over £15,000 to six clubs, with the ultimate winner claiming £6,000 and bespoke training courses. Two second prizes of £3,000 and three third prizes of £1,000 are also up for grabs. Ryde Rowing Club scooped the coveted award which was presented by Sir Bobby Charlton CBE in 2007.
