Sports Club of the Year Awards 2009

There’s still time to apply for the CCPR Sports Club of the Year (SCOTY) 2009.

Sponsored by the Foundation for Sport and the Arts and Runningsports, SCOTY is now in its sixteenth year and recognises the significant contribution of sport and recreation clubs at a grassroots level. SCOTY distributes a total prize fund of over £15,000 to six clubs, with the ultimate winner claiming £6,000 and bespoke training courses. Two second prizes of £3,000 and three third prizes of £1,000 are also up for grabs.

Ryde Rowing Club scooped the coveted award which was presented by Sir Bobby Charlton CBE in 2007. Could it be your club’s turn in 2009?
