Performance Programme Coordinator – Operations – GB Rowing Team

Do you want to play a key role behind the scenes supporting GB Rowing Team to perform on the World Stage?

GB Rowing Team (GBRT) is seeking a Performance Programme Coordinator to support the key operational areas of Teamwear, Resources and operational/administrative support to GBRT’s Sport Science and Sport Medicine department. The successful candidate will join GBRT’s Programme Support Team who underpin all areas of the Team’s frontline activities with World Class support.

GBRT is responsible for the selection of teams at both senior and age group level. This role will develop and deliver the team wear to cover each of these and GBRT’s performance directorate staff. The role will also underpin the operation of GBRT’s National Training Centre through purchasing, sales, the management of suppliers and services, and coordination of role specific training requirements. As a large team sport with significant resource requirements the successful applicant will also play a key role in managing the inventory and associated insurances.

The role will also play a key part in enabling the GB Rowing Team’s Sport Science and Sport Medicine department to deliver world leading medical and training interventions. This will be in the form of operational and administrative support that frees up front line practitioners and this role should not be confused with an opportunity for an aspiring sports scientist or sports medic.

The role is a hybrid role with some home-based working combined with time between GB Rowing Team’s National Training Centre in Caversham, Reading and British Rowing’s Headquarters in Hammersmith, London.
