Pangbourne College – Director of Rowing

We are looking to recruit a Director of Rowing to lead rowing at Pangbourne College with vision and energy, managing the team of coaches and administering Pangbourne College Boat Club (PCBC).

From September 2023 the College is offering rowing as a three term sports option for all pupils for the first time. The new Director of Rowing will therefore hold an essential role in implementing this and inspiring pupils to succeed in the sport over their College careers.

The successful candidate will have a proven coaching record of success at Junior National and International level in sculling and rowing. They will deliver high quality coaching of rowing to students of all abilities. Working collaboratively with our Heads of Sports and other stakeholders, the Director of Rowing will devise and maintain a professional, inclusive and competitively balanced rowing programme.
