Kingston Grammar School – Rowing Coach (Graduate Intern)

KGS Rowing is looking for a Graduate Rowing Coach to join the department In January 2024.

KGS has a strong tradition in rowing plus an impressive fleet of boats and a long history of success at both boys’ and girls’ levels as well as producing top international rowers.

We are looking for a graduate Rowing Coach to join the department on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role will provide the opportunity to develop coaching skills, style and knowledge and learn about the administration involved in a school boat club. All whilst being mentored and guided by our experienced coaching team.

The successful candidate will have plenty of energy and enthusiasm to encourage the squads and build good individual relationships with our students. You will have had some personal rowing success at national level plus some coaching experience and be looking to develop a career as a rowing coach.

The hours are 20 per week to be agreed with the Director of Rowing and travel to regattas, training camps and races will be necessary.

The role offers a competitive salary dependent on experience plus generous benefits.
