Seeclub Zürich – Head Coach

Seeclub Zürich is the oldest and one of the most successful rowing clubs in Switzerland. Since 1863, Seeclub has been promoting competitive rowing. The Seeclub operates two boat houses in Zurich and Eglisau.

About you:
● Experienced professional coach with a recognised national coaching certificate or international equivalent.
● You like working with ambitious athletes in junior and senior rowing teams and are able to lead and develop a large training squad.
● You possess great organisational as well as communication skills and are flexible and able to adapt.
● You like collaborating with your fellow coaches to ensure success across the board, especially in large crew-boats.
● You strike a rapport with all stakeholders in a rowing club (athletes, parents, recreational rowers, other club members) and thus are a unifying figure.
● You have emergency response training as well as a motor boat driver’s license.

Your responsibilities:
● Operational responsibility for the Seeclub training squad, regatta team and coaching staff.
● Continuous development and growth of the Seeclub performance team.
● Planning, managing and execution of day to day training, training camps and the successful participation in regattas.
● Responsible for athletes’ training plans.
● Management, leadership and development of the coaching team.
● Responsible for the recruitment of new talent and implementation of necessary means to attract young athletes (e.g., school visits, beginners’ courses).
