Thames lock closures (November 2022-March 2023)

The Environment Agency carries out a programme of works on the River Thames every year between the end of October and the end of March. This requires the closure of a number of locks, sometimes for relatively long periods.

Clubs based on stretches upstream or downstream of these locks should be aware that they may not be able to pass through the locks for training or racing on adjoining stretches at various times during this period. Full details are available on the Environment Agency website.
