Description: The Goring Gap Boat Club is one of the largest recreational rowing clubs on the Thames. Members row and scull primarily for enjoyment rather than to compete. Membership is open to all, with current rowers ranging in age from 18 to 60+. Beginners are assured of a warm welcome, and a relaxed and safe introduction to the sport. No previous experience is required, and we provide coaching to all our new members. Over the years it's estimated that more than 2000 rowers have taken to the water under the guidance of GGBC.
