Star Club – Director of Rowing

Star Club, located on the River Ouse in Bedford, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to lead and coach its junior programme, and oversee the club’s performance programme; starting 1st August 2021.

The successful applicant will be required to define and lead coaching to maintain a sustainable and successful membership.  The role requires direct `hands-on’ coaching, leadership of our junior volunteer coaching team, organisational maintenance and operation of the community outreach (schools) programme and overseeing the implementation of the club’s performance programme.

This is a full-time role (36-hrs a week). Working evenings and weekends will be required, and the role will also require attendance at all competitions, trials and training camps.

The salary is £30,000 per annum, with an annual leave entitlement of four weeks.
