Oundle School – Rowing Coach

The Role 

We are looking for an experienced Rowing Coach to join our fantastic Boat Club to assist with the delivery of the weekly sport and PE programme here at Oundle School.

Sport is very much part and parcel of daily life at Oundle, where we believe that every pupil leaves School with a positive experience, developing a lifelong interest and love of sport. The ideal candidate will want to share our ambition in nurturing a sporting culture where all strive industriously and some excel; where individuals can pursue their sport interests, and where the most talented are challenged to reach their potential.

The Applicant

We are looking for a passionate and experienced rower who will be committed to being an excellent role model for our students. You will have achieved a relevant coaching qualification and be able to work effectively within a team as well as use your initiative.

Application Information

Hours of work: 2pm to 5pm Tuesday & Thursday, 1.30pm to 4.30pm Saturday. You may be asked to work on the occasional Sunday and support Rowing fixtures throughout the year.

Working week: Term time only (33 weeks per annum)

Salary: £9,489 per annum (based on an an hourly rate of £28.52)

Anticipated Start Date: To be discussed at interview

Contract Term: Permanent
