Molesey Boat Club – Head Coach

Founded in 1886, Molesey Boat Club is one of the most successful rowing clubs in the UK, based on the river Thames in East Molesey, Surrey. Our club is home to Olympic heroes such as Andrew Triggs Hodge, Tom James, George Nash, James Foad and Moe Sbihi.

MBC operates a successful High Performance and Club programme, aiming to attract and develop high potential young oarsmen and women to reach their full potential.

MBC invests heavily in this programme, with a strong coaching team across both our junior and senior programmes respectively. The programme is supported by a vast fleet at the club, with top class boats available to our HP athletes. The club also boasts a state of the art rowing centre, finished in 2014, with 20 ergometers, ski erg, and a plethora of equipment for olympic lifting.

MBC is now recruiting a Head Coach to continue developing the High Performance and Club programmes and build on the strong foundations and results the club has enjoyed in recent years. This position is part funded by British Rowing’s HPPs in Clubs’ initiative, funding for this comes from the National Lottery through Sport England. This may well suit a club or school coach aspiring to take on a HP role, or an assistant coach in an HP program looking for their first Head Coach job
