Great Marlow School – Rowing Coach

Job Title:  Rowing Coach – Deputy to Director of Rowing GMSBC

Salary:  c£24,000 per annum

Hours:  To be Negotiated but effectively full time

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Coaching a crew or crews to compete for the school.
• Marketing the boat club within GMS to attract additional students to the club, with particular emphasis on KS3 enrolment.
• Responsible for coordinating entry to events, establishing what events are practical for GMSBC to enter, taking into account our equipment and availability of athletes.
• Working with Director of Rowing to inform parents about selection and timings both at events and related logistics.
• Help in the transport of equipment and/or rowers to and from events and training venues. Appropriate License very desirable.

This position is suitable for an ambitious Junior coach looking to become a Director of Rowing in a few years time.
