Grasshopper Club, Zurich – Assistant Competitive Rowing Coach (Full or Part-time)

As coach you will support the head coach with all aspects of competitive rowing at all levels. However, your primary focus will be novice and junior coaching at C-, B- and A-level (J13-J18) during training and national and international races.

Since its foundation in 1904, the rowing section of Zurich’s famous Grasshopper Club (GC) has been one of the most successful rowing clubs in Switzerland. GC has produced European, World and Olympic Champions as well as countless national Swiss Champions (in 2014 for instance, GC won all Swiss Junior titles and in the 2016 season a young GC crew even defeated Upper Thames Rowing Club in the final of the Wyfold Challenge Cup in Henley Royal Regatta).

Alongside the talent of the young rowers, it is the constant high-quality support from our dedicated coaching team that leads to this level of success. To further extend our junior coaching provision we are opening the position of a coach in competitive rowing. The position is available for immediate start or by agreement.
