Coach Educator (World Rowing Coastal Sculling)

📣 The Role

Interested in developing the next generation of coaches for the growing format of World Rowing Coastal Sculling?

The quality of activity is only as strong as the quality of the coaches delivering. To strengthen activity around England, British Rowing is looking to take on four new Coach Educators focused on delivering high-quality education focusing on the World Rowing Coastal Sculling format in England.

You can find the full role description here.

We are looking for coach educators who are dynamic and effective communicators to inspire delivery coaches around England. We need you to challenge concepts of what rowing is all about.

You’ll have the confidence and competence to deliver education in challenging conditions on marine waters and on and off a swimming beach. It would be desirable but not essential for the successful candidate to have a teaching qualification, but the most important thing is your ability to engage our future coaches.

You’ll also have experience planning delivery of education including all aspects such as promotion, risk assessments, arranging safety cover and planning volunteers if required to make sure participants stay safe and everyone has an enjoyable experience.
