British Rowing – GROW Coach

No rowing experience needed! Are you a coach who is passionate about changing the lives of young people in your community, and ready to take on a new challenge? British Rowing is looking for three outstanding coaches to lead the newly launched GROW programme, providing access to the sport through club and community partnerships.

First and foremost, we want people who really understand their local community and the challenges young people are facing. You will need to be an experienced coach, but don’t worry if you have no knowledge of rowing, we will mentor and guide you to understand the sport so you can deliver it with support from your host club.

Working alongside some of the best coaches in our sport, you will be supported to develop your knowledge of rowing, to be able to deliver great experiences through schools, community and faith groups, and at your host club. You will be instrumental in helping us change the face of rowing to truly make it Everyone’s Sport as outline in our Strategic Vision. Find out more about the GROW programme here.

The roles are for 20 hours a week, with potential for additional hours up to full time depending on your host club. For full details please see the Job Description here.

Salary for this role is £13,520 per annum for 20 hrs per week.
