British Rowing – Diploma in Sporting Excellence Mentor

British Rowing is looking to grow its excellent and enthusiastic Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) workforce.

The role

Are you motivated by seeing an individual develop and being involved in those lightbulb moments? Our DiSE Mentor role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the development and education of young people in sport to become involved in our Diploma in Sporting Excellence Programme. You’ll work alongside a group of like-minded individuals who are all invested in youth development.

As part of the role you’ll attend face to face and remote sessions with other mentors, club coaches and athletes on the programme, where you’ll support athletes and share ideas, review and standardise approaches.

You can find the job description here.

About you

Do you inspire and encourage those around you to be the best they can be?  If the answer is yes, then why not apply for this rewarding and challenging role.

For the role it would be great if you had First Aid and Safeguarding & Protecting Children training, but don’t worry if you don’t, as we’ll support you through that training if you need it. You will be asked to complete DBS documentation through us, as you’ll be working with junior rowers.

Our offer

The role will be as contracted educator on a self-employed basis. As part of our offer to you, you will be supported through:
