British Rowing Charitable Foundation Chair/Trustee

The British Rowing Charitable Foundation, which operates as Love Rowing, is a new organisation which was formally registered with the Charity Commission on 30 July 2018. It was founded with the support of British Rowing, the governing body for the sport of rowing in England, which also has responsibility for the training and selection of individual rowers and crews representing Great Britain. The Foundation is in the process of recruiting a Chair and two further Trustees, all commencing a three-year term early 2021, with the possibility of a further three-year term. They will join the three founding Trustees.

As a new charity, Trustees will initially be focussed on governance arrangements and a fundraising campaign to support a series of projects with an adaptive rowing, state school rowing and socio-economic disadvantage focus.

The Chair will play an important role in driving the strategic development of the newly formed Foundation, representing the organisation, and advocating the rowing for all principles on which it was founded.
