British Rowing Board and Sport Committee Elections

Like most sports, rowing is largely run by a group of dedicated volunteers, connected to the governing body through regional representation and through a number of committees with specific areas of focus. These committees feed into the Board through the Chair of the Sport Committee, to ensure their work is aligned with one another and with the strategic goals of British Rowing.

The following roles come up for election at British Rowing’s 2020 AGM.  The three incumbents have indicated that they are willing to stand again for these roles.

Deputy Chair of the Board

Kate O’Sullivan, Deputy Chair of the Board, has served her first term and is entitled to stand for a second term of four years, until the 2024 AGM.

Nick has already served one year of a four year term, but under the terms of the governance review was restricted to one year initially.
