Bedford Girls’ School – Head Rowing Coach

Full Time

£25,000 to £27,500 per annum dependent upon experience

We are seeking to appoint a Head Rowing Coach, who will work closely with the Director of Rowing, to further develop the substantial rowing programmes in place. The Head Rowing Coach will aim to inspire rowers at all levels to develop a love of rowing and to strive to achieve outstanding results on the water.

The successful candidate will be part of our excellent P.E Department and will be responsible, along with the Director of Rowing, to develop our team of professional rowing coaches in order to take the Rowing Department to new heights.

Bedford Girls’ School has an exceptional reputation for sport, achieving excellence across all disciplines, and currently ranking second in the UK for girls’ schools sport. Based on the banks of the River Ouse, we offer outstanding rowing facilities and have a history of rowing success with crews winning at national and regional level.

This role will require significant flexibility in approach and willingness to coach students outside of normal school hours, including weekends and holidays, throughout the year.
