What you'll learn: This workshop will Man Overboard and Recovery. The aim is to provide a model for clubs to use when running their own Man Overboard and Recovery sessions. The workshop has a mixture of both theory (including video) and practical; for Man Overboard and Recovery the practical session will be done on a suitable stretch of water using either a simulated casualty or suitable props.
Other Information: This workshop is a pre-requisite to the UKCC Level 2 Coaching Rowing Certificate. Upon completion, you should retain your certificate. The other prerequisites for this qualification are Safety Basics Online Module, and Cold Water & Hypothermia Online Module. You must hold valid Safeguarding & Protecting Children and Emergency Aid certificates at the time of your final assessment.
