Description:  Lifesaving First Aid course delivered by Elements First Aid (Certified by ITC)
Certificate: 3 years
This short, practical course covers essential lifesaving techniques to ensure that you feel
confident in dealing with incidents safely and systematically. Ideal for those requiring
skills in basic life support.
Core content: Vital signs, accident procedure, unconscious casualties, recovery
position, CPR (adult and child and drowning protocols) etc.
Assessment: Continual assessment by trainer observation.
Certificate: Certified by ITC First Aid Ltd with a recognised certificate valid for 3 years.

Other Information: 

This workshop is a pre-requisite to the UKCC Level 2 Coaching Course. Upon completion, you should retain your certificate and providing you have completed all three Level 2 Course pre-requisites, you will then be able to book onto the Level 2 Coaching Course. The three pre-requisites are: Capsize & Man Overboard Workshop, Emergency Aid Training and Safeguarding & Protecting Children Workshop.

If you already hold any of these certificates, providing they are still valid for another 6 months of booking your Level 2, you will not need to repeat it. Please contact your Area Education and Training Manager and send them a copy of your current certificate.
