The athletes will race in the men’s and women’s quadruple sculls respectively. Several of them recently competed at the Munich International Junior Regatta and some will be making their Junior GB debut. Commenting on the selection, Peter Sheppard, GB Rowing Team Head Coach for the Olympic Pathway said: “The European Rowing Under 19 Championships provides our young scullers with another exciting opportunity this season to test their international standards before the final crew formation in July, ahead of the GB World Rowing U19 Championships taking place in Canada at the end of August”.

The European Rowing Under 19 Championships is on the Kruszwica Regatta course – a post-glacial lake situated in a national park, which also boasts a 32 metre high historical tower that offers picturesque views across the course.
