British Rowing is delighted to announce The British Rowing Junior and Senior Club Championships, taking place from Friday, 19 to Monday, 22 July 2024 at The National Watersports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham. This follows an extensive consultation process, which took place over the summer.

By adding Senior racing to the already highly popular and successful British Rowing Junior Championships programme, we will create a vibrant Championship event which celebrates clubs across the country. This inclusive atmosphere will span four days of racing from Friday to Monday, with the aim of encouraging as many people as possible from across the rowing community to participate, from rowers to coaches, volunteers, club members and supporters.

A full provisional schedule will be published alongside the race categories and their criteria before Christmas. The newly introduced senior programme will stretch from beginner categories right up to the highest level of club competition in Britain – lightweight, adaptive and mixed events will also be available to competitors.

An important focus for the combined event is to enhance the British Rowing community’s national Championship racing experience, both on and off the water. We’ll share more information for 2024 closer to the event, and are excited to continue to develop this new competition into an established part of the rowing calendar over the next few years.
