The GB Rowing Team is searching for rowers to form the GB Beach Sprints Team for the World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals, held in Saundersfoot, Wales. As host nation we want a strong and competitive GB team to build momentum towards the potential inclusion of this thrilling new format at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

No experience of Beach Sprints is required! The format can be picked up very quickly by existing rowers, including those from a 2k ‘flat-water’ background. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking for a different challenge and an opportunity to represent GB on the international stage, with events at both Senior and U19 level.

In April and May there are opportunities to come and have a go and test your potential in the Beach Sprint format. Boats will be provided at all trials and events. With the World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals taking place on 14-16 October we have time to identify and develop those wishing to pioneer the format.
