Rosie Mayglothling elected to chair FISA commission

British Rowing’s Rosie Mayglothling has been elected to the chair of FISA’s Competitive Rowing Commission.

Rosie was elected at the FISA 2014 Ordinary Congress, held following this year’s World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, receiving 71 of the valid votes from FISA’s 51 member federations.

This year’s Ordinary Congress was the first to be chaired by new FISA President Jean-Christophe Rolland, and saw a number of elections for seats on the FISA Council as well as the attribution of World Rowing U23 events for 2016 and 2017.
