We’re taking the British Rowing Indoor Championships online

We’re bringing together everyone from complete beginners to World Champions, and to make this the most accessible BRIC ever, we’re running a free-to-enter LEAGUE alongside a LIVE weekend of real-time racing

BRIC Online will be the most accessible British Rowing Indoor Championships to date, with two ways for indoor rowers worldwide to get involved. The main event will be a LIVE weekend of real-time, side-by-side racing on 5-6 December, which will be livestreamed across both days of competition on the British Rowing website. On top of that, we’ll be running a free-to-enter LEAGUE from 30 November – 6 December for anyone to submit their best effort to our interactive leaderboard and see how their score stacks up against indoor rowers across the world.

The LIVE component will see junior and senior racing on Concept2 static rowing machines over 2000m, 500m and team relay races, whilst the LEAGUE element will be open to submissions over 2000m, 500m and team relay events on all types of rowing machine.

On top of all of that, we’re delighted that the LIVE racing weekend will also act as the European Continental Qualifier for the 2021 World Rowing Indoor Championships! Whilst BRIC Online will offer a more extensive range of race categories for both junior and senior competitors, results from the LIVE racing weekend will also be assessed by the European Rowing Board after the event and used to crown the 2021 European Rowing Indoor Champions in the following categories:
