Challenges
The world's your oyster when it comes to rowing challenges - there's literally no end to the things you could try. Whether it's proving to yourself you can do it, proving to your friends you can do it or raising money for charity, why not push yourself with a rowing challenge.
Your challenge could literally be anything:
- Rowing for an impressive distance like the length of the Thames
- Tackling a challenging stretch of water like rowing out to the Needles and back
- Taking on a challenge on the indoor rowing machine for a specific time or distance
- Rowing the 5 longest rivers in the country
What would you like to try? You can find more information about challenges and share your ideas and experiences with other rowers on the Explore Rowing website. You don't need to organise it all yourself, many clubs put on organised challenges and many of these form part of the Explore Rowing Summer Series.
