The GB Rowing Team is the high performance arm of British Rowing. Rowing is the nation’s most continuously successful Olympic sport, having won a gold medal in every Olympic Games since 1984, and has won six Paralympic golds since the sport was introduced to the Paralympic Games programme in 2008.

Matt Aldridge is reigning European champion in the men's four (M4-).
Matt began rowing at a young age as his dad was a coach at Christchurch RC. He first represented GB at junior level in 2014, before spending three years in the U23 team from 2016-2018. He was in the BM8+ that won bronze in 2017 and silver in 2018.
He made his senior team debut at the World Cup III regatta 2021 in the M4-. In 2022 he raced in the men’s pair (M2-) at the World Cup I regatta, before moving into the M4- that won gold at the World Cup III regatta and the European Rowing Championships.
