Lizzie was first introduced to rowing when she went to watch it at the London Olympics.
She started rowing at school and then continued during university, where she also studied Physics. During this time she competed at the u23 championships. This experience inspired her to want to continue with rowing after university, with a dream of one day going to the Olympics. This is her first season of full time rowing.
