Having pretty much dropped out of sport at school, Juliette started rowing as a way to meet new people at University and instantly fell in love with the sport.

She learnt to row with Somerville College Boat Club on the Isis river in Oxford who she captained and won blades with, she then went on to race in The Boat Race during her final year. After graduating she took a “gap year” to row with Leander Club, which turned into a little bit more than a year! She raced at U23 Europeans in 2019 and won the inaugural Wargrave Challenge Cup in 2021 as well racing for the British Rowing Team at World Cups in 2023 and 2024 and was the reserve for the World Championships in 2023.

Alongside rowing she works for The Well HQ, which aims to redesign sport and fitness to better support women and girls, and Juliette loves to talk about all things women’s health! She is passionate about empowering women and girls through sport, and particularly keeping girls in sports through puberty, as she believes that the lessons learned through sport can impact all aspects of work and life.
