International medallist at U23 level, Harriet (Hattie) Taylor was first selected for a senior boat at the 2017 World Cup regatta in Lucerne.

Taylor took up rowing as a youngster at Sir William Perkins’s School, and spent her gap year training with Melbourne University Boat club. Hattie was first picked to represent Great Britain in 2015 when she won bronze as part of the women’s eight at the World Rowing U23 Championships.

She made her senior GB debut in 2017 in the women’s four, before winning silver as part of the eight at World Rowing Cup I in 2018. She and Rowan McKellar raced as a pair throughout the majority of the 2018 season and claimed bronze at World Rowing Cup II.

She has been part of the women’s eight for the 2019 season, winning European silver and World Cup II bronze.
