Tina Kokkinos steps down from the Board of British Rowing
British Rowing thanks Tina for five years of dedicated service
As she approaches the end of her 5th year with British Rowing, Tina Kokkinos has decided to step down from her role as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee.
Tina said: “It has been a privilege to have served on the Board of British Rowing, being my first role with a National Governing Body. I wish to thank all of the staff, the Board and the volunteers who make the sport happen, and wish them all well for the exciting times ahead.”
Tina’s time on the Board of British Rowing saw several important milestones for the organisation, including a strong performance at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, and the introduction of the British Rowing Club Championships. A multi-sector portfolio non-executive director, Tina leaves British Rowing to focus on new opportunities.
Diana Hunter, Chair of British Rowing, said “Tina leaves British Rowing with enhanced financial stability and a modernised governance structure. We thank her for her contribution to the organisation over the past 5 years and wish her well for her next steps.”
