British Rowing in your region: see the dates for Tom Solesbury’s club visits in March and April
Starting as British Rowing’s CEO in March, Tom Solesbury will hit the ground running visiting regions, and Scotland and Wales, to meet and listen to the rowing community

This March, British Rowing’s incoming CEO Tom Solesbury will be touring the UK to learn first hand about the unique successes and challenges in each rowing region, as well as Scotland and Wales. Beginning in the Eastern Region in early March and ending in Wiltshire, Avon, Gloucestershire and Somerset in late April, Tom will be meeting with as many members of the rowing community as possible to begin his tenure at the heart of our sport.

Tom is working with regional representatives to make the most out of his time in each area; below is a provisional schedule for the trip.

- 8 March – Eastern
- 9 March – East Midlands
- 10 March – Yorkshire
- 11 March – Northern
- 12 – 13 March – Scotland
- 19 March – West Midlands
- 31 March – Wessex and South East
- 1 April – Wales
- 2 April – Western
- 15 April – North West
- 20 – 23 April – Thames
- 24 April – WAGS Region

At the same time, regions will be building up to compete at our first national Championships of the year, Junior Inter Regional Regatta – so keep an eye out for news of Trials, representing clubs and more on our social media too!
