Six scullers will fly the flag for Great Britain at the European Rowing Junior Championships in Gravelines, France, this weekend (26-27 June)

Tideway Scullers School and Gloucester RC both send two athletes, with Globe RC and Thames Tradesmen also represented.

Five of the six athletes have already pulled on a GB all-in-one this season, having competed at the Munich Junior Regatta earlier in May. Indeed, men’s double scullers James Cartwright (Gloucester RC) and Jake Offiler (Globe RC) took bronze in the quad in Germany.

Rhiannon Morgan (Gloucester RC) and Isabel Lack (Tideway Scullers School) take their place in the women’s double, while Lack’s TSS teammate Laurence Joss will battle it out in the men’s single.

Phoebe Campbell (Thames Tradesmen), who did not compete in Munich, will row in the women’s single scull at the regatta in Northern France.
