British Rowing announces Hertz as Vehicle Hire Supplier

British Rowing members can receive a discount on Hertz vehicle hires at home and abroad as part of the partnership

British Rowing is delighted to announce Hertz as its Official Vehicle Hire Supplier, with British Rowing members able to enjoy a discount on each hire at home and abroad.

British Rowing understands the challenges many rowing clubs face transporting boats, equipment and crews to head races and regattas up and down the country. That’s why British Rowing is partnering with Hertz to make it more cost-effective for British Rowing’s clubs and members to transport teams and kit to events and training camps, in Great Britain and overseas. Hertz has more than 90 years of experience in van and car hire with a fleet of over 18,000 vehicles at over 140 hire centres nationwide allowing rowing clubs to pick up a vehicle locally.

If you hire a van in the UK, you could find yourself driving the British Rowing branded vehicle, so keep an eye out for the distinctive livery on the roads of Great Britain.

Members can take advantage of a ten per cent discount when hiring cars or vans direct from Hertz. This discount can also be used by our members for holiday car rentals or business purposes, both at home and abroad. Hertz vehicles are available to hire in 150 countries worldwide.

As well as supporting grassroots participation, Hertz will also provide vehicle solutions to British Rowing and its talent identification programme Start, which trains individuals with no prior rowing experience to become Olympic rowers. Graduates of the Start programme includes double Olympic champions Heather Stanning, Helen Glover and Alex Gregory.
