Four medals for GB at World University Champs

Great Britain has won four medals at the World University Rowing Championships in Trakai, Lithuania.

The women’s double of Anna McNuff (Uni of London) and Louisa Reeve (Durham Uni) were gold medallists.

Their male counterparts – Henry Pelly and George Laughton (both of Newcastle University) were also gold medal winners in the men’s double.

Britain’s lightweight men’s four and the men’s eight both took silver medals. Two other crews also featured in the finals.

"The ARA and BUSA have worked together closely in partnership in the formation of this team and these are a most impressive set of results", said GB Performance Director David Tanner today.
