Kingston Rowing Club have a number of paid and volunteer roles available across various junior and adult squads.
Kingston Rowing Club is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated coaches to join our successful team, supporting an aspiring and enjoyable system that enables athletes to achieve success and enjoyment in the sport of rowing.
We have a number of paid and volunteer roles available across various junior and adult squads that require some or all of the following responsibilities:
- Coaching training sessions (both land and water)
- Support the organisation and administration of the rowing program
- Attending head races and regattas and other relevant rowing events
- Basic equipment maintenance
Qualifications/Key Skills Required
- Experience of coaching athletes on and off the water
- Understanding of health and safety issues associated with rowing
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and politely with athletes, parents, members of the KRC Committee and coaching staff, other members of the club, and the public
- Commitment to adhering to the letter and spirit of British Rowing Codes, Regulations, Rules and Policies and those of KRC, including creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
