Kingston Rowing Club – Rowing Coach

Kingston Rowing Club have a number of paid and volunteer roles available across various junior and adult squads.

Kingston Rowing Club is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated coaches to join our successful team, supporting an aspiring and enjoyable system that enables athletes to achieve success and enjoyment in the sport of rowing.

We have a number of paid and volunteer roles available across various junior and adult squads that require some or all of the following responsibilities:

  • Coaching training sessions (both land and water)
  • Support the organisation and administration of the rowing program
  • Attending head races and regattas and other relevant rowing events
  • Basic equipment maintenance

Qualifications/Key Skills Required

  • Experience of coaching athletes on and off the water
  • Understanding of health and safety issues associated with rowing
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and politely with athletes, parents, members of the KRC Committee and coaching staff, other members of the club, and the public
  • Commitment to adhering to the letter and spirit of British Rowing Codes, Regulations, Rules and Policies and those of KRC, including creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
