Olympic High Performance Coach – Women – British Rowing

We are seeking a High Performance Coach to support the GB Rowing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the success of one of the world’s leading rowing nations as we continue our journey towards LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032.

About the Role

The GB Rowing Team is seeking to recruit an Olympic High Performance Coach to work within its Olympic Women’s squad from the start of the 2027 season (22 September 2026). This role will join the team’s combined efforts to develop the rowers and performances that secure Olympic qualification in 2027, and ultimately deliver Olympic medal success at the LA 2028 Olympic Games.

With the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games only 6 years away, this role will also require the successful coach to connect with the Olympic Pathway and Project Brisbane cohort. This connection will be fundamental to motivating and nurturing the next generation of rowers targeting Olympic success, ensuring a successful transition to the National Training Centre  in autumn 2028.

Subject to the successful coach’s availability, there is the opportunity to start earlier and join the team’s 2026 World Championships campaign. This period would begin on 17 July 2026 with the squad’s overseas preparation camp, ahead of the 2026 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam.

If you are a highly motivated and experienced coach who can bring further technical expertise, innovation and leadership to our programmes while adding  value to our World Class team of coaches and support staff then this could be for you.
