Coaching Training and Qualifications

British Rowing has provided high quality coach education and development opportunities for all participants – whatever their goals

British Rowing recognises that supporting the development and education of quality coaches makes the sport more accessible, enjoyable and rewarding for everyone.

Our formal and informal programmes are developed on the foundation that successful coaches are instilled with a commitment to their ongoing self-development.

Our tutors are dedicated and passionate professionals who have undergone rigorous training to ensure a high standard of quality control.

Our terms and conditions for course bookings can be found here here.

The British Rowing Qualification Review

Following extensive consultation, British Rowing has committed to a groundbreaking re-invention of coaching qualifications that are accessible, affordable, and relevant across all disciplines of the sport.

Coaches will be able to choose the right training or qualification that aligns to their role, and will no longer complete qualification at a ‘level’.
