Latymer Upper School, a lively, energetic co-educational school in West London, is looking to appoint two new part-time rowing coaches to start in September. 

The successful candidates will be highly motivated and eager to help build on the recent successes of the school boat club. Experience of developing young athletes is essential and experience of a school programme is an advantage. Sound Tideway knowledge is also essential, and a trailer and/or minibus driver's licence are desirable.

British Rowing is seeking to appoint a Lead Coach for the GB Rowing Team (GBRT) Junior Programme.  This will be based at the GBRT Office at Hammersmith, with extensive opportunity to work remotely to cover the needs of schools and clubs nationally. 

The aim of the programme is to underpin and grow the GBRT Development Programme by producing rowers who will race and perform with distinction at the World Rowing Junior Championships each year.  The Junior Programme forms a basis for the GBRT’s Under 23 and Senior Teams and is a breeding ground for Olympic success.

Gateshead Rowing Development group are looking for a minimum of two coaches to develop the Junior and Masters squads at Tyne United Rowing Club. 

For both roles, a minimum of a UKCC Level 2 Coaching certificate is required and recent experience of coaching in a club/junior setting is highly desirable. The successful applicant will coach water sessions from a launch and if not already in possession of a RYA recognised powerboat certificate they will be asked to attend a course to fulfil this requirement.

Active Parks Watersports are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven coach to support Active Parks rowing in Birmingham, and work with Bear Creek Watersports Staff to create an unforgettable experience for participants rowing on Edgbaston Reservoir. 

The role is part-time and would start as one paid session a week. There may be further opportunities and sessions from this in the future. A Level 2 coaching qualification necessary.
