A person with experience of rowing and/or coaching is required to take responsibility for rowing at our school boat club. The club typically has around 30 members in the Senior School (13-18 years) and its own boat house on a 7km non-tidal stretch of the River Medway in Maidstone. Coaching qualifications (minimum of UKCC Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Rowing) is required and a minibus and trailer driving licence is highly desirable.

The Gateshead Rowing Development Group is seeking a self-employed rowing coach to undertake coaching services for Northumbria University Boat Club and Tyne United Rowing Club athletes commencing in Autumn 2014.
There is a total of 6 hours per week available, which will involve coaching a range of abilities from beginners through to club level athletes. Division of duties will be dependant on the experience of the successful candidates.
Coaching will take place on Wednesday 14:00-16:00, Saturday 10:30-12:30 and Sunday 08:00-10:00.
