Matthew Tarrant

Matt raced in the men's eight at the 2010 World Rowing U23 Championships in Brest, Belarus winning a bronze medal. He is in his second year at U23 level having raced in the men’s four at the 2009 World U23 Championships, finishing 11th.

Matt has experience of representing GB at junior level too. He finished 7th in the men’s pair at the 2007 World Junior Championships and was a silver medallist at the 2008 World Junior Champs in the coxed four. In 2009 Matt competed at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival where he won gold in the eight and four as well as silver in the pair.
